Happy New Year to all our readers...

We're very pleased to announce significant devlopments in our sales and distribution capability.

Matthew Ody, co-founder of the Farnham Film Company, returns to work with us after a time where his involvement with Dutch media giant Endemol allowed him little day to day participation in the Company. Matthew has been well known on the international television sales circuit for many years. He will be based in Nashville, and can be contacted through matthew@farnfilm.com.

In a parallel move, we're pleased to announce the development of a close working relationship with feature film distiributor Heather Playford Denman. Heather was one of the founders of Channel Four's Film Four International, and is as well known in the feature film market as Matthew is in television.

With the involvement of Matthew and Heather The Farnham Film Company becomes a truly integrated operation, able to take projects from conception throught production to international distribution.

Details of the latest two books from Ian Lewis (published this month) have been added to the books page - with direct links to Amazon, of course: 'How to make Great Short Feature Films - the making of "Ghosthunter"'; and, for kids, 'How to Conquer the Internet'.

"Ghosthunter" is a very ambitious short made by Amulet Films (www.amulet-films.com) with help and advice from such luminaries as Freddie Francis and Peter Lamont. The book is a guide to short-film making using the story of Ghosthunter as its main example, and is published by Focal Press.

"How to Conquer the Internet" is a practical book for kids, published by Oxford University Press.

That's it. May 2001 bring everything you wish for...
